Buc Days, Corpus Christi’s legendary annual pirate festival, sails back into port from April 29 to May 9, 2026, for an epic 11-day extravaganza that draws more than 100,000 attendees to the Coastal Bend.  Packed with high-octane action including Rodeo Corpus Christi, heart-pounding carnival rides, superstar concerts like Switchfoot, dazzling illuminated parades, PBR bull riding finals, shopping galore, and the innovative Buc Days STEAM Expo, this beloved tradition celebrates community, fun, and buccaneer spirit like no other.  Buc Days returns with its 2nd Annual VEX VRC Tournament – a premier middle and high school school robotics competition for elite teams battling it out with cutting-edge bots, perfectly blending STEM innovation with the festival’s high-seas energy. REGISTRATION OPENS SEPTEMBER 1, 2026

Teams will be organized into two Divisions: a Middle School Division and a High School Division. Each Division will run its own qualification matches and Division Finals to produce a Division Finalist alliance.

The two Division Finalists will then meet in the Finals — a best-of-three match series — to determine the event’s Tournament Champion.

NOTE:  Divisions may be combined if either Division fails to reach at least 30% of the event registration.
