Tx STEM Ed is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing STEM education programs for Texas youth ages 16 and older (high-school level). We are deeply committed to protecting your privacy.
We Never Sell or Share Your Personal Information
Tx STEM Ed does not sell, rent, lease, or share your personal information with any third party for marketing, fundraising, or any other purpose. Your data is used only by authorized Tx STEM Ed staff and volunteers for official program operations.
Information We Collect
- Name, email, phone number, and mailing address of participants (age 16+), volunteers, mentors, teachers, and parents/guardians
- School or organization affiliation
- Allergies or requested accommodations (only if voluntarily provided for safety during in-person events)
- Program participation records, project work, and assessment data
- Proprietary curriculum materials and program outcomes
- Website usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited)
We do NOT collect or store any personal information about children under 16 years of age.
We do NOT collect or store any medical information beyond allergies or accommodation requests.
Mobile information WILL NOT be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes.
How We Use Your Information
Only for delivering and improving our STEM education programs:
- Sending volunteer and program reminders (email or SMS)
- Managing attendance and participation
- Protecting health & safety at events
- Internal program evaluation and curriculum development
- Required grant reporting (always anonymized or aggregated)
Where Your Data Is Stored (All U.S.-based & Secure)
- Microsoft 365 (Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint)
- Perfex CRM
- MailerLite
- Password-protected Tx STEM Ed devices
All service providers are contractually prohibited from using your data for anything except providing services to Tx STEM Ed.
Legal Disclosures
We will only disclose personal information if required by law or to protect the safety of participants.

You may at any time:
- Request to see, correct, or delete your data
- Opt out of SMS or email communications
